Visit to John F. Kennedy Space Center

This silent home movie captures a Wright family visit to John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Shot in the late 1970s, the footage first focuses on many highlights from NASA’s lunar-landing missions, including a Moon rock and Lunar Module. The Wrights next walk through the Rocket Garden, an outdoor display of historic rockets and launch vehicles. From left to right, the Atlas-Agena, Thor-Delta, Juno I, Juno II, and Gemini-Titan II are seen. Finally, the family drives around Launch Complex 39, passing by the Vehicle Assembly Building.
