
Before each mission, astronauts spent hundreds of hours training in various simulators located around the country, many of which were based at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. Among the simulators discussed in the films presented here were the Command Module Simulator, the Lunar Module Simulator, the POGO Partial Gravity Simulator, Dynamic Crew Procedure Simulator, Target and Docking Simulator, and the Water Emersion Simulator, used to create the sense of weightlessness needed for extravehicular activity training.
